LUNCH TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT
At Age Concern Bracknell Forest our kitchen is a busy place. We are looking for some voluntary help. If you could spare an hour (or more) to help with preparing food, serving food and cleaning up the kitchen during our lunch times we would love to hear from you. We are looking for support around 11 - 1pm (Tuesday - Friday). Even if it is one day a week or fortnight it would make all the difference.
COMMUNITY GROUP / TRIPLE A HELPER
We need support from people who are willing to support our weekly community groups. If you are a people person, enjoy a chat and making others feel welcome, can help set up and clear up with us please reach out. Our groups run on Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. We also need support on our outings, if you could spare time to help us run fun events in the community then please reach out.
Our day centre is home to some of the most vulnerable elderly people in the community. If you would like to spare some time to come and sit with and talk to our clients we would love to welcome you to our family. Isolation is a real issue for the elderly and especially those with dementia. Sometimes just a chat makes all the difference! This role will focus on conversation, fun and activities.
