Triple A – A Legacy We Are Proud to Continue...
‘Triple A’ (Ascot Area Alzheimer’s) has been a valued and respected part of our community since 1994. As one of the early pioneers in developing day opportunities for people with early-onset Alzheimer’s and dementia, Triple A set a powerful example of what compassionate, community-driven support can achieve. Its volunteer-led approach not only created meaningful engagement for those living with dementia, but also provided trusted and much-needed respite for carers and families across the area.
In September 2022, Age Concern Bracknell Forest proudly welcomed Triple A into our charity family. Since then, its legacy has become deeply integrated into everything we do. Triple A’s ethos of inclusion and connection continues to inspire our work—shaping our local and wider-afield trips, the expansion of our community groups, the development of our weekend lunch clubs, and the ongoing support we offer through carers’ groups.
We are incredibly proud to carry forward the spirit of Triple A. Its influence lives on not only in the services we provide, but in the values we uphold: community, dignity, inclusion, and care. Through this long-standing foundation, we continue to build opportunities that enrich lives, bring people together, and support families living with dementia across Bracknell Forest and beyond.
