OPERATIONAL TEAM:

ANDREW ELTHAM

CEO

My role is focused on the strategy, development and delivery of everything under the Age Concern Bracknell Forest umbrella. I am responsible for the charity's business successes, future developments and a list that at times feels endless (and I wouldn't have it any other way)! I love what I do and I am in control of an incredible charity that I am privileged to manage. My staff team is second to none, and I believe that older people deserve the support services, and respect that we are striving to deliver. My current agenda is looking at improving business practices across the charity, ensuring our Companion Centre becomes a centre for excellence and the go-to destination for day respite and dementia care as well as ensuring our community footprint is big and bold. Bringing groups to where our clients are!

HOLLY EXALL

Strategic Care Manager

I am the manager in charge of delivering our care services. I have over a decade of experience in management within this field and am passionate about improving provisions, never resting on previous successes and driven to continue to change and develop our Companion Centre to make it inclusive and accessible to those who need it. I have a fantastic team of carers who work very hard to ensure each of our clients go home happy each day. I believe this care setting is special as it is independent, person-centered not profit-led, and the approaches we have are based around stimulation and creativity.

EMMA FRANKLIN

Finance Officer

My role is Finance Officer. I'm the one in charge of the money! It can be a daunting task at times as a lot rests on my shoulders from payroll to budgets, invoicing, bookings... basically anything with numbers attached to it. I am passionate about my role as it makes everything happen in our charity. Working for a charity has been one of the most rewarding roles I have undertaken. I am always available to answer any queries relating to invoices or anything finance related.

KAY PETTIT

Business Support Officer

My role is the administrative role that connects all the dots. I am responsible for supporting our Trustees and the CEO in varying projects from day to day. I have a focus on marketing, grant applications, fundraising opportunities and improving business practices and processes within the charity. I am delighted to have joined the charity at such an exciting time, helping support the teams ambition to succeed. I have  already been involved in most areas of the charity. I am also the key person manning our information line in the office so I am sure I will speak to you all soon!

GILLIAN GIBSON

Events Officer

My role is about delivery. I am the lead officer currently delivering the 'The Wednesday Club' our weekly community-based club for the over 60's who feel isolated and lonely. The club has varying things happening week on week, from quizzes to singers, magicians to fascinating talks and more. I believe that nobody should ever feel alone. We aim to create a community within our groups and encourage new friendships that can improve people's quality of life. I am currently developing new community provisions and have many ideas that hopefully you will all see soon!.
