We recently adopted a magazine style of layout to allow for more content because we want to use the web and email to help an increasing number of "silver-surfers".

At the Day Centre

New Flooring

The old carpet tiles have been replaced to improve health and safety and cleaning costs.

On 30 September and 3rd October, Day Care was hosted in the Forest Park Community Centre while new American Oak effect flooring was laid in the lounge, dining area, and corridor areas used by Day Centre members.


Age UK

On 25th October 2011 our members voted to end the association with Age UK. Although we support the same stated aims our ethos is for direct support of local people.

We feel that, since the re-organisation, when Age Concern England amalgamated with Help the Aged, their locus has moved away from local services.
