The Local Charity

Age Concern Bracknell Forest (ACBF) is an independent local charity funded by the organisations and people of Bracknell Forest and dedicated to promoting the wellfare of elderly people in the borough. It was formed in 1972 as part of the Age Concern federation of local charities. Age Concern Bracknell Forest works with Local Authorities, statutory bodies and other voluntary organisations to:

  • help to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience
  • ensure comfort and security for older people
  • provide advice and support to families and carers

Not Age UK

Age UK publicity states that Age Concern is now called Age UK. We regret this is untrue because many local charities such as ourselves will not be named Age UK.
